I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the most incredible engagement party for Theo & Monika at their beautiful home in Canterbury, Kent. As a Canterbury engagement photographer, I love capturing celebrations that feel personal and completely unique to each couple, and this one was truly special.

Before the engagement party began, we took a little walk around Canterbury for some relaxed couple portraits. It was the perfect start to the day, giving Theo and Monika a few quiet moments together before their garden filled with family, friends and celebrations.

Back at their home, the couple’s garden had been transformed into the most beautiful setting for an intimate engagement party in Kent. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, from the gorgeous decorations and carefully chosen cocktails to all the personal touches that made the celebration feel so incredibly them.

One of my favourite moments came during the speeches when Monika surprised her bridesmaids with personalised ‘Maid of Honour’ and ‘Will You Be My Bridesmaid?’ boxes. It was such a thoughtful touch and a really special moment to capture.

Theo & Monika had clearly put so much love and effort into creating their celebration, and it was wonderful to see all their favourite people come together to celebrate their engagement.

There was so much laughter and love throughout the day, and I feel incredibly lucky to have captured these memories for such a wonderful couple.
